I am looking to by a locking gas cap for my 06 F-150 Lariat. Is there anything I need to know about this? Or is it pretty straight forward. I was looking at the Stant brand they have at Checker auto parts. The only reason I ask is because these new vehicles will freak out if the factory cap is not on all the way tight, so I am just concerned that an aftermarket locking gas cap will affect it. Thanks...

 

i had no problem with mine... got it from autozone...

 

When I went to get mine they asked if it had a black or white nozzle going into the tank. Mine was white $20.00. 2004 XLT Screw.
