I really like electronics in a car/truck and I'm looking for suggestions and/or pics of what to put inside my truck. So far, I've already installed an Alpine IVA-D310 head unit with the Ipod module, Sirius radio module and back-up camera. I've also got a rear roof-mounted Alpine drop down DVD player with Playstation/XBox inputs and an inverter mounted under the center console. I'm going to be getting the Alpine navigation system that goes with that head unit as well, but I'd really like some other electronics to light up that cab.
I've got the exact same head unit; also have the nav. You don't mention speakers or amplifiers. If you don't replace the speakers, I think the head unit is wasting cash. The stock speakers are pretty poor quality.
The alpine sounds really good, but if I had to do it over again, I'd probably not choose a fold-out unit. It works fine, but is a little ugly in my opinion; the double-din units from alpine, pioneer and others can be made to fit.
