344 = CPS Cam Postition sensor fault
603 = BAtteries may have been disconnected recently.
You need to replace the CPS. Here is a great set of instructions:

Get the CPS from an International Truck dealer or from ebay, if you can wait.
Ther CPS can fail and leave you stranded. Buy 2 CPS,s and place one in the glove box for the future.

He did replace the cps, says no change
Unhook both negatives on the batteries. On one battery, touch the negative cable to the positive terminal. This will clear all the codes on the truck. If that makes no changes, see if there are any other codes.
Check your fuel filter and make sure its not clogged up.
How old is your oil? Make sure it is full.

Thanks for the info, guys. My truck started "dieing and restarting" or "hiccupping" tonight on the way home from work, (it was snowing).
The link and photos were fantastic. I think I can find it without too much trouble. Just released from physical therapy last week, so this sounds like a good first "mod" to try without putting too much strain on my back.
