Hi everybody,I got in my 79 f250 today and started the truck and i noticed my fuel and oil pressure gauges where not working. Both the needles were pinned to the far left position and never moved.I drove around all day and nothing PS my odometer and speedometer are working fine and my temp gauge has never worked since I bought the truck years ago (have a seperate gauge under dash) and everything else horn, wipers etc... are working.Any clues or experience Thanks
Torque1st I'm not sure what your getting at.I looked over what you said to read 1st.Are you suggesting the topic has been covered and is somewhere in the READ 1ST and I need to look further or am I breaking forum protocol in some way with my help question
Try jiggling the key in the ignition switch while the truck is running. One of my trucks is like that. You start it up and theres not gauges but after a little jiggling its fine. Its like the switch is worn out and the dash doesnt get any juice.
