This evening I noticed 2 wire bundles lightly resting on top of my driver's side front shock. Both wrapped in silver insulation, one with abrasion from the top of the shock scrapping on it. Wondering if this is easy enough to tie wrap to another area for now or should I straightaway do the ½ day trip to the shop for Ford to do it? 05 350 6.0 cc lwb srw
Hi BowTieHatr and thanks for the reply. I expect to visit them in about two months but was hoping to remedy it temporarily as the chaffing is minimal so far. Is this a common harness sagging problem or is something really far out of place?
first one i have heard of. it is probably the body harness that was not secured to the apron, and it might be a simple fix. but for the sake of a new truck, it is a good idea to get it documented for warranty issues and longevity down the road.
