Hi Everybody!
I have been lurking around the forums for a few days now and I thought I would actually join and post a bit. I'm not a Truck owner at this moment, but I am actively in the market for one right now. It's the next stage in making my wife's dream of having a horse farm come true.
We recently purchased 14 acres and now we're getting it all set up to bring The Kids (if you can call Clydesdales "kids") home from the farm where they have been boarded. Needless to say, I need a real truck for not only general farm use, but one to pull a major horse trailer. Right now, I'm eyeing a 2000 F-350 with a 7.3L Diesel and some other nice trimmings.
So, I have been reading through the forums trying to suck up as much information as possible so I can be an informed buyer and owner.

Hello MicahInNY and Welcome to FTE!
Wow! Those are some big kids and you are treating them right by doing some research on which truck to spoil them in. The Superduty and the 7.3 Diesel forum are great ones to start looking in and with the load you will have, the Towing forum probably should also be on your list. Last but not least check in at the New York chapter and meet people from your area.
