Looks pretty nice to me.

how does it stack up to the competition? what IS the competition? honda cr-v? toyota rav-4?

You think so?

It looks to follow the lines of the "true" suvs - explorer, expy - a lot more than that of the edge to me.

I think it looks decent, except for the way the grill carries down onto the bumper. I think it would look much better if the whole bumper was body color.

The green in those first pics is pretty ghastly, too, IMO.

Hate to say it Red but, get used to the front end because all Fords are going to that look, car and truck. That's their trademark look now. The Fusion started it, now the Edge, Expedition, F-250 have it and next year, the Focus, Five Hundred and, F-150 will go to it and most likely, the Freestyle. The Explorers already went to it in the 06 models but, it's slightly different than the rest.

I'm not glad to hear that since I'm not big fan of that design.
Fusion, Expedition and F-250 look pretty good, but there is just something in Edge and Escape that I don't like.
