Rear Shocks
Has anyone had a problem with the rear shocks coming loose at the bottom? My wife and I were on a road trip this past weekend , when I heard major clanking noises from the rear of the truck. When I checked, the R/Rear shock was hanging and the left was about to do the same. Thank God for ACE hardware! Dealer said there has been a change made by Ford on the hardware. 2006 Lariat SCAB.

Well Ford did change the hardware the shoulders on the bolts are tapered differently and slightly different size. Tech showed both of them to me because I thought that I was getting a "story" from service adviser!
