Found a Cheap Power Stroke?
I have located a 1997 F350, CC, LB, 4x4, turbo "D" for $2500.00. It runs well, but has passenger side body damage, which is repairable. It has 198,000 miles and has an auto transmission. The rest of the truck looks solid. What do you think?
Is the power stroke that is under the hood worth it?
It has been sitting for 9 months but fired up, when we jumped it.

Could be a bargain. However, that's a pretty good chunk of miles for that engine, especially if not maintained properly. Even worse, that's a whole lot of miles on that transmission, assuming its never been replaced/overhauled.
