i would usually like kick my tire the opposite direction. i had the same issue with my 325i but then again if a truck tire is frozen on, that would be really difficult to get off.
Take the lug nuts off and spray the stud holes and center opening with 'PB Blaster'. Put the lugnuts back on and drive it for a day or two. When you try to remove the wheels after soaking with Blaster, they should come off without much trouble.
Once you get the wheel off, apply a moderate amount of 'Anti-Seize' to the center opening and the back of the rim surrounding the stud holes.

Thanks to all...the last suggestions came a little too late as I got them all off today...I'll check out that anti=sieze stuff. The one (front) wheel came loose with Beaner's method, one back one with the sledge & wood, but the third I actually had to use a bottle jack against the frame...whew! I guess this is one case for rotating your tires regularly...these had not been off in 7 years.
