Outer axle bearing replacement?

Outer axle bearing replacement?
Has anyone done this before? When I shake my rear tires I can feel some play, also there has been a vibration I have been having trouble diagnosing that seems to be originating from some where back there. So I bought domestic bearings and seals from advanced. Obviously I have to pull my axle but I was wondering how hard those bearings are to come out. Will I need to heat the housing? Just wondering if anyone has done this before.

I did mine last weekend. I have the 8.8 rear and the bearings were a real pita to get out finallygot a piece of ready rod ran it through the housing from the other side and whacked it with a sledge hammer that got em out. The rest of the job was a piece of cake.
