you can use your coils, you just have to take off the leaf mounts and fab on the coil spring c's jeffs bronco graveyard sells them. thats what i am going to do with my truck. you can do a leaf spring conv. or coilovers but someone else will hafta chime in on this one.

what are you going to use it for? coils will usually flex better for rocks/ trails. Im pretty sure only certain year 60's can be converted because of how the spring perches are cast on to some.
to go to coils, means cutting off old perches, welding on the C's, making trac bar/bracket.
going to leafs means front and rear spring mounts, different steering. I know I'm leaving out alot, but this is the jist of it. I went to leafs on my 88, and kinda regrett it because I couldnt move the axle as far foward as I really wanted it.

When you spoke of Kings or Fox, were you refering to using a coilover, or just the shock? The real cool set-up would be to ditch the big coil, and use a coilover. Sway-away makes a dual rate coilover, thats one spring stacked on top of the other. Giving the driver a super plush ride. The two springs have different rates, the top one with less rate. Soaks up high speed whoops with no problem, and works well on the slow stuff too. Rancho just introduced a new line of coilovers, but are slightly limited on rate options. The advantage to the sway-away is the ability to really dial in the eibach springs. Because it is a coilover, even ride heigth can be adjusted. If you are gonna use a racing style shock such as the king, or fox, then you are not afraid to spend a little dough. As long as you are gonna spend it, consider a few more options.
