does anyone know if the 1954 f100 shop manual they sell here cover the frame dimensions my front end has been clipped and i want to make sure that it is not the reason im having trouble lining up my hood with the front sheet metal
My 56 shop manual gives the following data for F100
Width front to back from outside of frame rail to outside of frame rail as 34". Front end dip from top of frame rail around the trans cross member to the top of the frame rail at the front of frame as 2 3/4". Center line to center line of the front spring hangers 41" measured along the frame. Center line to center line of the rear spring hangers 47 35/64" measured along the frame. Rear axle kick up measured from the top of the frame around the trans crossmember to the highest spot on the frame rail over the rear axle as 2"
There is no information relative to #1 cab mounts, rear cab mounts or where the radiator support attachment goes on the frame.
well i guess that answers my question i was looking for the amount of drop from the front cab mounts to the radiator support piece i think that i have the height of my radiator support in the wrong place thanks for the other measurements tho maybe somebody else has them laying around thanks!!!
