Horn relay
Can anybody explain to me how the horn relay works, and whether it is prone to failure?
I believe I have my ring horn and wiring correct, but I can't seem to get the horn to work. I have power to the relay no question, and can get the horn to sound when I touch the horn wire to the power wire, but I can seem to get the thing to work when I push down on the horn ring. Maybe the other question is how does the horn ring work?

I completely cut mine out for the time being. There is a temp horn button in place since I owned the truck that works quite well. Finding some of the parts I need is a pain in the you know what. Not to mention I got tired of looking at wires that were connected to nothing. I am also going to be moving where the thing was located at as well.
