'05 Diesel - Comparison Input
I need to ask a couple of questions to find out if my 6.0 Diesel Super Crew's (32,000 miles) performance is typical of similar trucks. First, my brake pedal travel seems to be a bit excessive however the brakes appear to be operating sufficiently and the pedal is firm once the full length of travel is obtained. Second, the automatic transmission seems to shift a little late when the truck is cold but is fine once the operating temperature starts heading up to mormal. It seems most noticeable on the very first shift sequence like when I first get out on the main road and the truck goes thru a full 1 to overdrive shift range. I'm thinking it's fairly typical but I didn't buy the truck new so I have no way of knowing. Thanks in advance for your replies.
