I have one. Aside from fixing the bucking and intermittant split-second shutdown, i dont notice a difference. I plan on a DP tune very soon, and i've heard that he wants you to run a BLACK (stock) CPS.

I changed from blue to black yesterday and the truck runs rougher and louder. There has been some discussion that the blue advances the timing but I read on another diesel forum yesterday that the blue retards the timing. Not sure who is right but I am going to call Diesel Innovations today and see what they have to say about it.

General rule of thumb is, if you have chipped your Engine, stick with black CPS. If your truck is stock, you can go for blue CPS. Then again there are success stories of chipped trucks with blue CPS. I bought a black CPS on EBay just last week.

I have the Blue and a predator tuner. I don't have any problems and the truck runs fine. I wouldn't be afraid to run a chip and the blue personally. Then on the other hand you can buy two black for the price of one blue and you won't have to listen to people say "You are gonna window your block".
