Assuming a 2000 2v V10 the cold idle will be right at or slightly higher then 1100 RPM and should drop back to 750 to 900 once warmed up
All SuperDuty trucks get either a 29 Gal tank in the short bed or a 38 gal tank in the long bed...
There are "kits' for larger tanks and they do work OK... however usually at the expense of an accurate fuel gage and the trip meter functions of miles to empty will be wrong. Many of the higher end kits have solved the fuel gage problem but none that I know of integrate properly with the on board "lie o meter"
Be prepared for sticker shock, as most of the aftermarket tanks are very expensive
unless my tac is off it stays just over 1000 in neutral and bout 800 in gearjust seemed to me alittle high, but thanks
you are just slightly high if ,this is observed after a fully warmed up truck.
