Will a gauge cluster from a 95 F150 work in a 93 F150. I have seen some posts going back and forth about this. Since searching has been turned off I can't find those posts.
From what I've read in here, whenever you are doing a guage swap is to always use the same year guages. They mention that their are sometimes slight changes in the electronics, or other parts of the vehicles. Which could cause problems swaping in a tach, or what not.
If its free. try it! might work.
if you gotta pay, i'd make sure I had the right stuff.
No They don't . I'm sure Fredric will be along . Heres a rough idea 92, 93 no problem 94 ,95 possible I've read it depends on air bag / abs . If remeber right 96 -97(F250+) are alone. But don't quote me . A 93 Unit won't work in 94 . I've tried it. 96 won't work in 95 , I had lights on everywhere. Some quote tell of switching things to make work. I'd just find one for your year. If you are in western Pa I've got a 93 set. Good luck

So all I need to do is change the pin out on the 93 harness to match the 95 cluster?
Yes that would work but some of the wires are on the wrong plug and you would have to swap them.
The Theft light would light for the Fuel reset light as 343 is in place of 921 at pin 5 on C251 and the Gauge grounds are wire #875 on the 95 in place of #570.
The 95 did not have the Fuel Reset Light.
Also leave off the 95s #608 Air Bag wire.
EDIT:
You may also want to use your old PSOM for mileage and tire size.
