winshield washer reserve issue

winshield washer reserve issue
89, xlt, 5.0
my winshield washer sprayer stopped working, so i replaced the pump in the reserve tank, cleaned the tube, and checked the pump connections, and it still doesnt spray (and the tank is full). anything else i can check?
is there an easy to install aftermarket system (other than spray bottle of windex) to replace this?? dont realize how import wiper wash fluid is, until u dont have any..

Make sure that the spray jets on the cowl panel arent blocked. Pull off one of the lines going to the spray jets and see if water comes out when the windshield washer is turned on. If no water comes out--check and make sure that the resevoir water pump has battery when the switch is on--if no battery--check for an open fuse.
If there is no battery and the fuse is good and all wiring connections are good--suspect that the switch isnt closing in the cab.
