transmission code
just had a mechanic pull code from trans(flashing od light)and he said the only code in it was p1728 but he could'nt tell what exactly was wrong...any info on this would be appreciated

Easy fix, or quick check
My 2000 expedition did the exact same thing yesterday, check your fuses, I changed one blown fuse under the hood, 15 amp # 23, and cleared the code, before it would drive in 1 or 2 or R but not in OD! Now shes back to normal!
