stock tire diameter

I'm sure this question has been asked but my search privlages have been revoked for some reason. Anyways, I was wondering if anybody knew what tires came stock on a 78 f250 4x4. The door tag just says 16E. Thanks.

Maybe,Check the FTE "Site Announcements" forum everytime you visit FTE to make yourself aware of anything going on on FTE at any given time.

There are numerous threads about the search, But people don't go to the right place to see what is going on.
Also at the very top of the main forum page is a announcement in BOLD type about it.

16 E I think was 7.55 wide x 16" rims size .
I think the tire was 29 " tall.

http://www.net-comber.com/tirecalc.html
This will give you tire diameter based on metric tire size. It will also calculate for you what your speedometer will read if you change to a new size.

This one gives metric and old tire sizes, and recommended rim width for tire size.

These are both great sites to bookmark for future reference.

Enjoy.
