Diesel engines do not have throttle bodies, as the engine speed is controlled by fuel injection, not air flow. Do you know anyone trying to sell a TB spacer for a powerstroke?
Some earlier 6.0's had throttle bodies, but they weren't really throttles. It just helped the EGR system choke the engine out some more.
They look like throttle body spacers and I see two in the back of the Summit book. One is called the intake tube spacer and the other is an Airaid throttle body spacer.. Maybe they are using too general a description !...lol
I was kinda wondering my self cause I knew there was not an actaul throttle body as I would know one from a gas motor.. but I thought maybe there was something that may use the same term... it happens sometimes that there is slang or to or three different names or misrepresentations..
While it may not be counter productive, there are absolutley no benefits from sticking one of those things in your intake....unless your wallet is just too heavy and you need to lighten it up.
