Need a practically new V10?
Here is a listing for a V10 on ebay with 35 hours on it. It was used on a generator. Great deal if you need one.

Local pickup only...too bad.
Picture reminds me why I have that desire to get headers if nothing else than to remove those ugly *** log manifolds. Good thing I have fenders or I'd have to look at those ugly things every day.

The engine is the Ford Triton 6.8 Liter V10 engine, that fits into (2000-2005 Ford Excursion), (1999-2004 Ford F-Series Super Duty), (1997-2006 Ford E-Series

that wording say's 2 valve. the photo's show the black plastic 2 valve covers not the alloy 3 valve covers .Nothing in his wording sayes super duty which is the only model that get's a 3 valve motor.
He also says he got it 2 years ago "my dad bought it for me 2 years ago as a hobby interest" and the horse power specs of "310" so it's a 03/04 that would be with PI heads or long thread.
2k it's good buy, shipping state side could be around 300 bucks. it' really is a good buy. 35 hours is nothing at all.

Every thing you said was spot on except... The SuperDuty truck series from Ford started in 1999. In 2001 they commemorated the 2 Millionth unit sold with a special "Platinum Edition SuperDuty" I owned one of the beautiful trucks with a V10 in it. (Like record lables... Going "Gold" was at the 1 Million sale point, and Hitting "Platinum" was after 2 Million were sold)

fred it's charlie and i messed up .
i didn't read all of his copied spec sheet. he used the wording 30 valve "typo?" but also stated 310 hp of the 2 valve. it shows 2 valve covers. some crazy small port "carb like?" intake maniflold and 2 valve log manifolds in the photos.

I knew what you were meaning Charlie... The way you said it sounded like the the "SuperDuty" was the only model to get a 3v V10... in other words trucks with 2v V10s were not SuperDuty trucks...confusing depending on how you read the sentence
