front e brake cable

front e brake cable

can someone refresh my memory on how he front ebrake cable goes through the floor ? i replaced the floor pan awhile back and now i just can't rememeber how the cable goes was there a hole in the floor pan that i welded up ?

I don't know about front e-brakes however; the rear e-brake cable went through the lip on the tranny cover. There should be a raised portion on the cover close to the gas pedal side where the cable will fit into. I hope this helps

That's where my 56 e-brake cable goes thru also.

I was wondering how somebody runs a front e-brake.

thanks for that question, I had forgotten that it went thru the tranny cover seam.. have to do mine soon, and didn't want it in the fenderwall area..
