Hello all, I am in south louisiana and I have 2 ford trucks, a 79' f150 4x4 with a 429 and a 77' f150 2wd with a 460. I currently planning on restoring the 4x4, but I have terrible frame damage at the steering box. my first hurdle is to find out if it is repairable by getting the cracks welded and maybe adding a plate to it for strength, I am planning a large lift and at a min. 38" tires. I just want to be sure the frame will hold up if repaired
I have read alot in this forum and I am looking forward to hearing advise and tips from yall.
I will post my question about my frame problem in the 79' forum. and again I am looking forward to hearing advise from true die hard ford fans.
