I get fuel filters from my International dealer. Since the trucks don't stop moving on Thanksgiving, there's a fairly good chance that the dealers are still open. You require part# 1847170C92.
I don't believe Walmart carries the fuel filters. If they do, they are more than likely cheap FRAMs which lack the Aquabloc media and thus are NOT recommended for our 6.0s.
Personally, I've never had a problem draining the HFCM, even with a full tank. Pull the plug, let it drain until the flow stops (30sec-1min, usually), then proceed with the fuel filter change.
I order all my filters from National Fleet Parts. If your order is big enough, you get free shipping. If I had to buy one around town, I have only found them at the Ford dealer......for some reason, I still don't see them much at any other place.
Also, I have never had a problem draining my HFCM with a full tank. I believe you just need to make sure the key is not in the ignition switch in the on position.
