Hi
Need some help finding the vin numbers on my F 250 1991. I`ve got the ones in the "engineroom" , windshield and at the driverside door pillar. But shouldn´t there be one on the frame as well ("stamped in")?
Ok, thanks....i think it is only here in europe that a vinnumber shuold also be stamped into the frame, since my 250 is imported from the US that might not be the case.
Now I just have to convince the authorities that there is no such thing as a vinnumber on the frame.
yes it sure will be....i´ve been "batteling" with them for about two months now and to me it seems that they are not human....can´t be reasoned with....=), but I´ll sure give them a match...I want to drive my Ford!

As far as I know all US made Trucks and Cars have a VIN number stamped into the frame.
I have never seen one but have watched the State Police go under the Auto or truck on the drivers (left while setting in the seat) side right behind the front tire with a mirror and a flashlight (torch).
I dont know if I can do it myself, but probably not. I´ll have to go and check the place you mentioned, but it could be quite tricky to find since the car been corrosion treated with "paint" underneath. (sry for bad english, I´m from Finland You Know....)
