Quicker steering gearbox?
The steering on my '85 F150 4x4 is to slow for my tastes. Get it just a bit sideways in the dirt and you are going-hand-over hand really really fast if you want to maintain any control.
Are there any other years or models that have a quicker ratio in the power steering box, and would be a bolt in swap?
I've driven off-road race cars with a speed-steer installed, but, they seem to add a lot of slop to the system.
I tried to search on this, but, the search function is turned off for a while.
