I have a 2004 6.0L With turbo back exhaust and AEM cold air. I am experiencing blow back through my cold air after spooling up the turbo. A friend said to put a blow-off valve on it to prevent this. Can I just use a regular blow-off valve or do I need special type?
It should only do that when you let off the throttle quickly whileits spooled up. Why are you doing that? It's designed to have a bit of that happen, bu not too much obviously. I have a turbo back and intake as well and I don't really have it happen often.
It happens some when I pass other vehicles. I see how it happens by releasing the throttle to soon. Thanks for the reply and greeting. I need some input, I work for TCI Automotive and we're going to design a converter for the 04-07 5R110's. What kind of stall speed and disc set up would be useful in the diesel performance world? We are going to get more involved in the diesel performance field in 07.

I purchased a precision Industries Multi-Disc for my '06 PSD, but I don't think I chose right. I think I got a higher stall and I think I should have gotten a lower stall. It kinda confuses me still since I don't really understand what it all really means. The way the torque comes on so soon on a diesel though makes me believe that I should have gone with a lower stall to get more into it's powerband sooner.
