Hi, ok I've read a lot and the one thing I can't find or maybe I missed it is where is the fill hole on the differential of a 1997 F150 XLT 4x2? I've read all about the friction modifier and that seems to be my problem but I can't find a way to add any. When I accelerate I get a slight shudder until I get to about 1000 RPM then it quits and runs fine. Obviously I'm not a mechanic and know very little about newer trucks so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Ok I'll go out again after it quits raining here and the tide recedes out of the yard. I don't remember seeing any kind of nut anywhere and my Brother in Law didn't remember seeing any either and that was what had me stumped but I will check again. Thanks my friend.
