creaking or squeaking noise
i have an o6' 4x4 Screw lariat and i have never noticed until the other day when my son was moving it in the yard, seems to have an awful noise when releasing the brakes...stops when brakes are applied. anybody else with this problems or rather annoyance....i mean, i love my truck (has only 1130 miles), no problems, runs great, no lag in throttle like i've read from a lot of posters here, rides great....like i said, just that one thing and oh, of course the gas mileage.....any response?

it could just be the rubbing of the pads when the brakes aren't fully released. Mine does something similar to that if I'm just starting to roll down a hill and the pedal is halfway depressed. Other than that, there is no noise or difficulty with the brakes. You may just have noticed more from the outside and because of his driving style being different then yours when it comes to the use of the brakes.

I experienced the same rather loud sound coming from the rear. I was driving around town when it happened. I drove about six miles with this noise and took it straight to the dealer where the service tech was able to witness the noise. But at the time of inspection by the mechanics they counldn't reproduce it. I still hear it but it's intermittent and anoying.
