Position the 302 where you want it, centered side to side, carb flange level front to back (3 degrees down in back if injected), fore and aft to clear the radiator. If necessary, the eng can be offset an inch or so to the right for steering clearance. Block in place and fill the space between the mounts and the frame. It is helpfull to construct the mounts out of cardboard first, creating a pattern. Make sure the mounts are gusseted and strong. Bolt on or weld to frame. Mount kit can be purchased for $55 at Mid Fifty.
