Making some changes!! :D

ive been really busy the passed couple days... lots of changes already made and to be made...

well... i found myself a house, i wasnt really ready to dig into one, but man this house is amazing! its super unique! its an old wartime house but totally modernized... its unreal and hard to explain! ill have to get pictures when i move in!

its a pretty big house for a war time house, its 1 1/2 stories, with the loft up stairs, which is awesome, has a ledge on the sides and you can look down into the kitchen on one side and living room on the other! spiral staircase with metal bars in the middle of the house! room for a pool table in the basement and it has a bar! haha im so stoked for this house... it even has a double attached garage, that is heated!! SCORE!!

except.. since i found it earlier than planned... im a little tied up cash wise so i already sold the ****** and im looking to sell my truck...

so if anyone on here wants, ill sell my 2000 F-150 for 8,000.. i will be advertising it for 9,500

im also gonna start looking for a vehicle that runs good, needs no work, and "decent" on gas, for under $2,000 so if you know of something that would be great!

didnt mean to turn it into a classified but 2 birds with one stone! heh heh

im just really excited! my first house

Oh 93, whats your idea on what is decent on fuel? I know there is always some nice late 80's early 90's f150s around for under 2 grand, and with a 300, or 302 they arent too bad on fuel. I also know of a 1991 short box xlt lariat 4x4 for sale for 1800 bucks, but it does have high kms.

42 bucks to fill up I wish! My 97 takes about 65 on average.

yeah i have no idea why it so cheap for pete sake my van with a V6 costs more i think it might be these fuel gauges they act so weird when i floored once gas gauge went down then came back up to where it was before and when i filled it the needle went passed the F mark so i dont understand

My truck does that also. It is the front tank. When the gas gets lower it sloshes back and forth in those front tanks. They are narrow and long along the frame. In my case the front springs are weak and the truck slopes a bit to the front and the gauge shows it is lower than it is.
See the gauge will read 3/4's and when you drive and slow for a light or sign the gas flows to the front of the tank. When you drive off the gas flows back before the float can adjust and it slows the float. Which also means the float is starting to stick. It is not a big thing, you usually get use to it and live with it. The back tank does not slosh like the front.
I like to drive on one tank for amonth or so, then switch to the other tank. To prevent sediment from collecting or gas getting old. and stale. So Dustin it is wise to switch the tanks back and forth every couple of months to keep them with clean fuel and less chane of dirt and sediment.

If they put baffles in the tanks (front ones) that would probally stop the gauge fluctations.
