Question Alignment Question

I just had an alignment done last week and today ran into a stump going under 5mph. My frame mounted brush guard took the impact and there was zero damage that I can see ( inspected the undercarriage pretty closely) but I'm now pulling heavy to the right and the steering wheel isn't centered. Would that type of impact typically affect alignment?

It would if you bent the steering linkage.

I don't think the linkage is bent. I don't see anything bent.

If it is pulling to the right and steering wheel is off center then something changed in the front end. Time to take it back to the alignment shop and see what you messed up.

Hope this helps

mikedeason,

Could have caused the pitman arm to jump gear teath in the steering box, and nocked the caster or camber out.

Hope this helps
