93 explorer ?

i have a 93 explorer and i am looking to make it look like a 95 or newer on the front end. i was wondering how different the fenders are on mine and a 98. they look very similar except for the front.

They also need to be swaped with a 2nd gen. First gen. headlights are boxy 2nd gen. are rounded. Other than that swap away.

so should the fenders from a 95 explorer bolt up to my 93? and of courese the headlights and grille need to be changed... I am curious though, are the hoods different because they look the same but the 95 looks a little rounder in the front.

The hoods are difference because the cowling is different. You will need to swap the fenders, bumper, hood, cowl, grill, headlights, possibly wiper arms/motor since its in the cowl and probably the inner fenders. Everything should pretty much bolt up though. I am not sure about the cowl...

By the time your done swapping all the front-end parts to make your 93' look like a '95, you could've bought a '95 for what you'll pay for the parts. Just my .02 cents worth.

i just got a 94 and i do like the 95 and up but i think it is way too much trouble to change front ends.

on a 90 f150 to a 92 f150 you had to change the radiator support. fenders, hood, grille, lights and the bumper which had to have custom brackets.

you can do anything with enough time, money and torches,
