Bolt Torque Question?

I am repacing the studs for my stock exhaust manifold on my V10. I've decided to just go with stainless bolts instead of studs and nuts. When you install headers what torque do you put on your bolts for these aluminum heads. What are the manufacturers saying for this? And also do you put anti sieze or loctite on the bolts? which one? I'm hearing it both ways?

When I put headers on my Chevy, which has aluminum heads, I used anti-sieze and torqued them properly and have had zero problems since.

Now that being said, I haven't tried to remove them since. I'll go have a whack at removing one of the bolts if you'd like?

Go back and try to remove one that doesn't need to? Your asking for trouble there. I finished up today and am pretty happy with the results. I checked around and one header company said 24lbs and that kind of coincides with Ford's stud torque. It sounds good and am glad I went with stainless bolts instead of studs. I used a flat washer/lock washer and went with the anti sieze for that's what most header companies were calling for with aluminum heads.
