Need few Newbie tips help?
Just got a (new to me) 03 F150 XLT 2wd 4.6, got the fun back in my ride... love it.
Anyhow, I need to ask a few questions (I just bought a owners manual off ebay).
1) need tip on how to set the trip mileage to zero, pushing the stem down just get's a "T 3003" or something close but doesn't go back to zero. Push it again and it goes back to the over-all mileage.
2) I'd like to have a locking gas door or cap that locks.... any ideas?
3) do they make a tool-box for the bed that doesn't go over the bed sides? I'd like to have a hard cover to fit the rest of the bed.
It has a black tonneau cover now but want the above.

Congrats on your truck - cool color. To reset the trip odometer on my '99, I just push and hold the stem in for a couple of seconds. The last owner of my truck got a locking gas cap from Ford.
Sorry - don't know anything about tool-boxes or covers, though I see the need for something for my truck - just not sure which direction to go in.

Now you say you want a hard cover for the bed. The thing is, unless you put the tool box at the rear of the bed, the tool box's lid wont clear the cover, and you wont be able to open it.
