need some input from you

ok so i have a 91 f 150 4.9 2wd reg cab. i plan to buy a bronco i tihnk its a 92 or 93. so i plan on dropping the 150, tubin out the bed, and putting a built 351 or maybe even a 502 if i can fit it. and doin all the usual tranny swap that id need. wat i need to kno from you guys. problems you think ill hit and if theres any kits for rewireing so i can remove the comp since im goin to carb (maybe s/c) instead of my fuel injection. so yea let me kno what you guys/girls (you never know) think.

first off is the tranny in the truck a auto or manual? if its a auto and you want to keep it you'll need a stand alone tranny computer. a 351 will drop right in the truck, and should bolt right up to what ever tranny is in there.

since a 502 is a chevy engine, that'll take some doing. rig up engine mounts and a crossmember if you go that route you wont need a tranny control computer assuming its either a turbo 400 or a manual that'll be behind it.

i hope the 502 is a missprint, the last thing the world needs is another ford with a chevy engine. why not build up a 460 and a c6, all the power you could want and then some.

hahaha yea sry no misprint there. my friend has a built 502 that he was gunna use for his camero but he decided not to use it and he was gunna sell it to me for 100 bucks. i mean i kno it runs and makes impressive numbers on the engine dyno. but yea its an auto tranny. im not sure which one. i mean id like to change it to stick. but i think it might be better since im going to build it for the strip for an auto with a shift kit and a ratch shifter maybe. ok but heres what im thinking. i want to keep the factory wires in for the lights and stuff. but if i switch over to a carbed engine i wont need the f/i wires and all the sensor wires right? so that means i can jus rip out the computer. i mean im going to keep the stock dash so i want to keep the stock guages and just add aftermarket as i need for tranny temp and such. im getting rid of the bench seat. can i still use the stock gauges without the computer tho. or do you think im gunna have to make a custom cluster and use aftermarket gauges for everything? i mean i mite do that too. i dont kno i stil have a lot of planning to do i just want some input.
