c-6 swap

i have a c-6 out of a 79 f250 2wd and want to put it in my 77 f250 4x4. will the output shaft be too long? anything else i need to know?

From: lino lakes, mn

output shaft is different you need a tranny made for a 4wd or have it rebuilt with a 4wd output shaft
