Adding heated mirrors
What is the preferred method of wiring in a set of heated mirrors in a 1999 SD?
Any suggestions on where to get 12 volts and what switch to use? For some reason the forum will not let me do a search. Thanks for any suggestions or links you can provide.

the switches in the doors have lights when the truck headlights are on; would it be possible to tap into them? that way the heaters are on when the headlights are on. Hopefully someone knowledgeable will let us know if that is acceptable. How much do the heaters draw? They aren't much, are they?
