anyone using this product its made by granatelli. claims 50 hp 150lbs tq and 3 mpg increase guarenteed or your money back, seems like its geared more towards towing? i dont tow that often but would like a little more power, and heck who wouldnt love 3 more mpg's.....
Granatelli also made some unreal HP gain claims in Diesel Power (?) magazine in the December issue by stacking tuners and by use of an A/M airbox. Dyno numbers can be skewed and all the tuner "guru's" have claimed foul. They also don't say what they did to the motor to keep the heads from blowing off--lol. Claims are just that--claims. Until you spend your hard earned cash and try their product there's just no way you're gonna know---and everybody's 6.0 is or seems to be a little bit different. Who knows......you might LOSE 3 mpg. For the guarantee (read the fine print first) I don't see how you could go wrong. For 150 dollars more you can have 3 of the best tunes written for a 6.0 with guaranteed customer service. Just my .0000002
I searched their website and was disappointed to not find any 6.0L specific dyno charts or anything. The 3 MPG guarantee is what I was most interested in but find it hard to believe that they get this same 3 mpg regardless of whether it is a Powerstroke, Duramax or Cummins. It would be nice to know if someone can back up their claims so we don't all have to buy one and then go thru the hassle of returning it if it doesn't work. I saw the article in Diesel Power but it didn't mention fuel mileage results, only dyno numbers.
