Ignition Problems?
I have an 89 bronco, I put the key in the ignition and turn it to the start position. Nothing comes on. No lights on the dashboard turn on, cd player wont turn on, power windows wont work, and I cannot start the truck. But I can turn the headlights on and the brakelights and also the hazard lights. Tested the battery, its fine. Im thinking its my ignition switch. HELP ME!!! thanks

YEAH !! Right on... it is your Ignition Switch....Had the same prolem.. Quite easy to change... When you put back your new one, make sure you dont tight to much the bolts on the `support of the steering column`... The aluminium piece, or metal ...that you have to remove to have acces to the ignition switch...2 bolt that bolts on the 'dash frame' and 2 other ones that bolt onto the steering column, if you tight those two last one to tight, then the little rod that connects your key cylinder to the ignition switch will have a hard time moving around, you feel it when you turn your key...dont put it to slach etiher, or else if you hit a bump, and might turn the key by itself....youll see, its easy to do, just dont forget
