help

hello new to this site hope someone can help.

i have a 95 bronco 351 replaced tps and still getting 122 code and engine idles around 1500 rpms

i have a 90 with the same problem
so me and my last four hairs (ive slowly pulled the rest out )
are begging you
let me know if you get a fix for it.

You have to disconnect the neg battery terminal and adjust the new TPS to .6 to .9 volts. Anytime you install a new sensor you need to disconnect the neg terminal first so that the ECU can establish a baseline for the new sensor.

i had the battery disconnected when i installed new tps.turns out i had a defective part thanks any way

Bobstrat, I have chased the high idle situation myself and have a plan of attack for you if you want. I would like to know what you have done so far. I know the feeling of chasing and not getting the right thing to fix it.
