No Start......Sometimes
Drove my 2000 PSD to a buddy's. Stayed for 3-4 hrs. When I tried to leave, my truck wouldn't start. Put in a new CPS (from Carquest) and still no start. So I checked the oil, put a charger on the batteries.....no start. My buddy (Chevy diesel guy) said I needed to reset my TPS by slowly depressing the gas pedal twice with the key on. He did it, and it started. So I shut it off and started it again normally, drove it home, and now it won't restart. Tried his trick...still no start. ANY IDEAS? Is there a way to test the CPS?

I finally got it started. I drove it home fine, changed the oil and fuel filter. Went to start it to leave, and it wouldn't start agian. I found that it would start if I gave it gas while cranking. Then it would surge and die. I attributed that to the fuel filter change. It finally stopped surging and ran fine. I then drove it 15miles and it ran fine. Once I was home, I shut it off, waited 30 sec. and now it won't start...just cranks. Please help.
