weird cutout when driving
sometimes when im running down the road in my truck it loses power. its like the motor dies for a split second the raido stays on and the tach dosent move. i cant figure it out.

engine (EFI or Carb), etc.
Sounds like the module for the ignition might have a wiring problem.
Get the module tested to rule it out (the module will work or it won't),
check wiring that feeds to the module,
corrosion can play tricks and cause the problem you descibed.

i was reading another post it was kinda the same problem i got the truck a couple of mounths ago and it never did it. but the other morning i noticed sparks under the hood when i tryed to start it i wouldnt roll over it just clicked like a dead battery so i poped the hood and tryed again it was sparking by the starter relay i just wiggled it and it started. and come to think of it thats kinda around the time this started. it also has a push button start

sounds like you got some bad wires under the hood. i would look over my starter wire and starter relay. i would also check the spark plug wires for and wronen are damaged wire. replace them if needed and make sure the wires on the starter relay are clean and tight
