2000 F150 4x4

2000 F150 4x4
For starters, 4x4 wouldn't engage. Took it to a shop and they found bent pin on the shifting fork. Put new pin in, 4x4 works. I now notice when I shift out of 4x4, it's like it doesn't disengage. I have to come to complete stop and then it's OK. Any thoughts?

I have a 99 with 4 wheel drive and mine does the same thing. I have never had any problems with it. I have to come to stop also. I thought it was kind of weird but it must be normal. Well at leaset i hope it is normal! Hopefully someone will let us know.
