drice shafts

I need too know what year driveshaft will swap into a 84 bronco ll( rear shaft). It is a 4 speed stick w/overdrive. And will the ones out of an auotmatic fit?

I think '84 was the only year that used a standard u-joint style driveshaft. '85+ used a Rezeppa style CV shaft, and I'm pretty sure there's a different flange setup coming out of the t-case. You might be able to get one of those to fit, but it's difficult (and expensive) to get those CV joints rebuilt. You might get a driveshaft out of a Ranger to fit, but it will likely not be the right length and you'll have to get it shortened.
