Well I replaced my TPS, and the truck runs awesome. Getting decent gas mileage (as good as can be expected atleast) and the check engine light turned off.

However while driving down the road the other day I hit the brake to turn into my house and the pedal felt fine, but then gave out and went straight to the floor (I was madder than a fat girl whose prom date did not pick her up). I limped it into the garage and started looking at the brakes and discovered that the caliper is all jacked up and when I hit the brakes, brake fluid squirts all over my tire (right front).

Question...........

What is the best type of brakes, calipers, rotor to put on the truck. I figure if I am gonna do it I have to do it right.

It's a 4x4, with 31x10.50 tires, V8, Auto.......suggestions?

I think that's like asking who is the best doctor in town.

I just replaced my brake system on my 93 Just used rebuilt parts from the auto store. u can shop around and save a ton of money.

However I like to use lifetime warented parts.

dont forget to rteplace the wheel berrings....

I suggest getting some loaded calipers from NAPA and go with the OEM quality pad. Lifetime pads are going to be super hard and may not work the same way that Ford designed for.
