leaky intakes
I have recently purchase 2 fords a 78 with a 400(soon to be resold) and a 85 with a 460.
They both have a unacceptable idle and I started searching for vacuum leaks and found both have leaks where the intake mounts to the heads.
Is this a common problem?, Is there a prefered intake gasket set? and while I am at it should I upgrade the intake on the 460? I have been looking at the performer for the 460, the truck will be mainly used for towing
