just put my truck on the road it was sitting for a year. replaced tranny and it engages thr gears lik n r d 1... but when i drive it it wont shift to a higher gear.any idea what this is? thanks

 

Check the fluid level and TV linkage if you have one.

 

also im nut sure about your tranny set up, Doest it have vacum advance? if make sure its getting the right amount or any at all

 

thanks... im not sure about the vac advance im going to check that out but i have new fluid and new tranny filter. im not sure how to adjust my tv linkage i hav to look into that i hav the haynes manual but there picture looked a little different than my set up.
